The Shadow was a very popular mystery show of the 1930's and 40's. It was a drama that was read over the air and usually involved a murder. The show was trademarked with it's opening lines, "Who knows the evil that lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows! <maniacal laughter>" For a generation that did not have visuals, this was a very exciting show!
The radio serial that ended in 1969 was "The Shadow." This popular program, which originally debuted in the 1930s, featured the character of Lamont Cranston, who fought crime with his unique ability to cloud men's minds. The show was known for its suspenseful storytelling and memorable catchphrase, "Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows!" Its conclusion marked the end of an era for classic radio dramas.
Oh, dude, Shakespeare wrote that line in his play "Julius Caesar," Act 2, Scene 1. So like, around the early 1600s. But hey, who really knows what was going on in that guy's head, right? I mean, he could've been writing about his grocery list for all we know.
Only "The Shadow" knows what evil lurks in the minds of men. How long your shadow is! The clouds will hide your shadow.
George Burns ended the show with "Say goodnight, Gracie" and Gracie would say "Goodnight." Most people mistakenly think that she answered "Goodnight, Gracie" because of the Laugh-In ending, "Say goodnight, Dick," to which Dick Martin answered "Goodnight, Dick."
Man. Yes you are quite right it`s the absence of God`s presence in the hearts of men.
The tails of comets always point away from the sun. This happens due to the solar wind pushing particles away from the comet's nucleus, creating the tail that points in the opposite direction of the sun.
As the years passed, the character evolved. On September 26, 1937, The Shadow radio drama officially premiered with the story "The Deathhouse Rescue" and imbued the character with "the power to cloud men's minds" - the ability to become completely invisible - a trait associated with the character for years after the show ended. Even after decades, the unmistakable introduction from The Shadow radio program, intoned by actor Frank Readick Jr., has earned a place in the American idiom: "Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? Heh-heh-heh-heh-heh-heh-heh! The Shadow knows ... " These words were accompanied by a haunting theme song, Le Rouet d'Omphale, composed by Saint-Saëns.
Woman are not particularly evil. Woman are good at seeing weakness in others, which they quite often will use to their own advantage. A man who is desperate to find love, will be used and abused, often with a lighter wallet. A man who abuses his right to live and others, will have a lot of woman wanting to do the same. It all comes down to the fight of the strongest, which unlike men, woman are more passive about it.Answer:In many places, the Scripture tells us all are evil - no distinctions:Ecclesiastes 9:3New King James Version (NKJV) 3 This is an evil in all that is done under the sun: that one thing happens to all. Truly the hearts of the sons of men are full of evil; madness is in their hearts while they live, and after that they go to the dead.
The Evil That Men Do - song - was created in 1987.
