I think maybe it might just be which comics you have been exposed to. There really aren't that many green characters in ratio to how many Marvel comics there are. Just some better known non-green characters are Nightcrawler, Mystique, Beast, Spiderman, Wolverine, Iceman, Doc Oc, Dare Devil, Elektra, and Storm.

-That's not true, they are two separate people. Bruce Banner is the Green Hulk, Thunderbolt Ross is the Red Hulk. The two biggest differences are that Red Hulk does not lose control of his mental stability, he is a rather smart and cunning opponent. Also as his anger grows, he is able to emit flames.
