could be a bunch of little things....I had the same problem....changed the bulbs...nothing...changed the tailight circuit boards....nothing...checked the fuse...good.....changed the nuetral saftey switch on the colum....nothing....the only other thing it could be is a bad wire from the fuse to the light or a bad ground.....its up to you... 1st thing id do is check the wires ground and fuse....then go about changing everything else.
My 2003 dodge ram 1500 has a 4.7L and my question is when i lock my truck the security lights like the park lights wont come off and i dont know what i did any help?
The best thing I could suggest would be to check the wiring, fuses and switches.
First check the bulbs, then check the fuse, then check the switch on the transmission, and last check the wiring.
True.
The backup light switch is mounted on the transmission casing.
The sport package, for a 1998 Dodge 1500 RAM pickup truck, will come standard with tail light covers. The covers have a chrome finish.
Yes they did, I own 1 myself.
the switch needs adjustment
does the sound come from the engine,or the radio???
Typically, there's a hot switch attached to the pedal which closes the circuit to the brake lights (or to the CECU board in a truck which uses CAN BUS communication).
No, the 1950 Ford cars did not come equipped with factory-installed backup lights. Backup lights were not standard on most vehicles during that era, including Ford models. They became more common in later years, particularly in the mid-1950s and beyond, as safety features evolved. However, some aftermarket options may have been available.
The switch is likely bad. Check the power going in and out of the switch.
