If it only needs to be charged with a battery charger to bring it back to specified voltage and then holds the required load amp rating by testing it with a carbon pile can you restore a low battery. Nothing else can be done to it if this fails the test except recycle it and go buy a new one.
If the battery is defective there's no way to fix the battery must just replace the battery.
Bad ECU, replace.
How you fix a tail ligth from killing battery
This can be caused by a weak or bad regulator switch. this can be caused by 3 things that come to mind primary would be a bad voltage regulator about 14 dollars at local autoparts store, a slipping belt you prob already checked that, or in the case i am having ATM a bad ignition switch, i am looking for electrical scamatics so i can find a way to fix or bypass mine its being a pain to find
recharge it or get a new battery
Get a new battery.
If the noise is caused by a Mechanical problem, disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it will do NOTHING to fix the problem.
The simple fix is to remove the bulb from the trunk light. The more complicated fix is to find out why it is staying on. More than likely the switch is bad.
No, a bad coil will not drain the battery.
No, there is not. The internal battery is an actual battery that has ran out of energy. No button sequence will do anything about it. You will need to replace it to fix it.
Don't fix it...replace it.
I had this problem and had the oil pressure checked, which was fine, and the sensor replaced..a few days later it came on again. Found out i had a bad battery. I bought a new battery today and so far no blinking oil can! I have read about other folks having the same problem with a bad battery.
