They typically do, but a Class A CDL alone won't be enough for them to hire you on. You'll need experience - anticipate about two years of experience before they'll even look at you - plus hazmat and tanker endorsements, and many fuel haulers require previous tanker experience of some sort (which could be food grade or hazmat).
