1953???? I would guess, if you got 10-15 mpg you would be doing good. Of course that would depend on which engine/transmission it has and how it is driven.
I require an electrical diagram for a 1994 gmc 1 ton dually with a 7.4L gas engine. Thanks
I get about 12 miles per gallon with a one ton 2wd crew cab with a 360 v8.
I have a 1952 restored 1/2 ton pickup 12 is about the average.
Yes
When new they got about 20MPG I (this info is from an 84 suburban half ton 2WD, a 93 half ton 2WD ,83 blazer and an 84 half ton pickup 2WD.
A G2500 is a 3/4 ton van and a C2500 is a 2 wheel drive 3/4 ton pickup.
If its an automatic half ton its the 4l60E if its a one ton its the 4l80E
No one truck, no one answer. It will depend on the fuel mileage for the truck in question.
it is half ton and 3/4 ton is for 2500...there is only 2 models for Suburbans.
Some of the C6500/C7500 Chevrolet/GMC trucks are LPG powered. The W series Chevrolet and GMC trucks, and the ones built on one ton cargo vans, are either gas or diesel powered.
If its a half ton automatic its a 4l60E if its a one ton automatic its the 4l80E.
seems I'm answering my own question... turns out my 84 4x4 Jimmy with a 6.2 diesel and 700r4 trans runs the same 3.07 gear ratio as my 83 Sierra Classic 4x4 pick up with a 305 gas and 700r4 trans.
