A couple of ways. You could have a seal leaking from the supply pump if it's engine driven as opposed to electric., faulty injectors or o-rings on them depending on the engine type, and lastly and the most expensive one is a faulty fuel injection pump.
A small amount of hydraulic oil mixed with a full tank of diesel fuel, nothing.
I have mixed used peanut oil with diesel with no adverse problems. Adding it to bio-fuel will probably just raise the cetane level with no problem.
diesel is a fuel that has oil in it
No #4 diesel fuel oil is for oil burners and will not ignite in a diesel egine
There are not any calories in diesel fuel oil. Diesel fuel oil should not be consumed by humans or animals. Consumption of the fuel oil can be fatal.
Diesel fuel is often referred to as "diesel oil" or "heavy oil". Do not confuse this with "engine oil for a diesel engine" which means "lubricating oil specially formulated for use in diesel engines". My first Ford Fiesta diesel's tax disc said - "Fuel - Heavy Oil". They've now realised that this term is anachronistic, and my latest tax disc reads "Fuel - Diesel". To be pedantic - Diesel fuel is an oil - Petrol is a spirit.
Yes. Diesel is a fuel oil, similar to kerosene and jet fuel both.
Diesel oil is a hydrocarbon-based fuel and does not have a defined pH value since pH is a measure of the acidity or alkalinity of aqueous solutions. However, when diesel oil is mixed with water, it typically has a pH around neutral, around 7, but can vary depending on impurities and the presence of other compounds. Generally, diesel fuel is considered non-aqueous and not subject to traditional pH measurement.
