The simple answer is remove the strut and install it in the reverse order of removal.

it is not as simple as we think it is simple.
it is better to take the van to a well equipped workshop.

tools required.

  • service lift or a jack for safe lifting.
  • socket wrench set. wrenches and sockets.
  • wheel alignment system.
Procedure:
  • lift the vehicle with the lift or jack.
  • remove the wheel where you want remove the strut.
  • remove the bolts holding the struts to the vehicle.
  • remove the strut from the vehicle.
  • remember there are some bolts which must be installed back at the same position where the bolt is removed. so the bolts must be kept in a way you know where exactly you removed bolts.
  • install the strut in the reverse order of removal procedure.
  • wheel alignment procedure must be performed.
