you cant
To reset the ECM (Engine Control Module) on a Freightliner Columbia, you can start by disconnecting the negative battery cable and leaving it disconnected for about 15 minutes. This will allow the ECM to reset. After reconnecting the cable, turn the ignition to the "ON" position without starting the engine for a few seconds, and then start the vehicle. This process clears any temporary codes and resets the system.
Pull the cover off the dash in front of the passenger seat. In the freightliner I drove (I don't remember the year: sorry.) I found the flasher in there.
buckle your seatbelt
It will be up under the dash above the pedals OR on the passenger side up in the dash.
The flasher is an internal function of the computer inside the under hood fuse box.
In a 2000 Freightliner, the turn signal flasher is typically located in the fuse panel, which is usually found under the dashboard or in the vicinity of the steering column. You may need to consult your vehicle's manual for the exact location and identification of the flasher relay. It's often a small, cylindrical component that can be removed and replaced if faulty. If you're having trouble locating it, checking online forums or resources specific to your Freightliner model can also be helpful.
