The simple answer is no. As long as the centre of gravity remains within the confines of the triangle the truck is stable. However, as the centre of gravity rises (e.g. when the mast is elevated) the stablity of the truck is reduced. This is because the centre of gravity does not have to move very far when it is high in the air for it to have a much greater effect in the triangle at the ground.
