No set answer to this. The mileage you get out of a vehicle depends on the quality of workmanship which went into the vehicle, how well the vehicle is maintained, how heavily the vehicle is worked, the environment in which the vehicle is operated and stored, etc.
rconaway - Although this answer is correct, I can give you a better baseline. Assuming that you are running synthetic oil, a really good oil filter like a Mobil 1, change the oil every 10K miles or less, and don't over-rev the engine by driving at 90mph everywhere, and have 80% or more highway miles, I would guess you will get at least 450K miles. However, minor maintenance on that engine is going to include oil pan and rear seal leaks at over 200,000 miles, intake gasket leaks, and possible rear-differential wear. If you use synthetic in the tranny also, it should last the life of the engine. Mine is at 260,000 miles and has compression readings that are within a few percent of new. If you aren't running synthetic oils, change now, put a really good oil filter on there like a Mobile 1 filter, then watch the oil after 500 miles because it will clean out your engine. If it starts getting dirty, change it again, fast. After 2 oil changes, you will have cleaned the engine and should get years more life out of it.
I have a 1990 e150 and it has 2.
I have a 1992 E150 club wagon with 285k that gets 16 on the open road crusing at 65-70.
35 gallon
On 2000 & 2002 E150's there are 2 back-to-back converters on each side.
I have a '95 E150 and a '96 E250, both are 4.9 straight 6 cyl. One has 1 O2 sensor and the other has 2, one on each half of the exhayst manifold. I believe the 96 has 2. but it is an E250, not sure about the '96 E150.
Till it does not run any more
I am getting close to 10 - 11 miles to the gallon in a 1989 ford dually with a 460 fuel injected engine.
it has a 35 gallon tank
There is always one and is located close to the termostat just follow the user radiator hose down to the housing it will be close to it
My 1992 E150 has a 35 gallon tank so I'm guessing your E150 is the same even though it is only one year newer than mine.
There are four, if it's a V-8.
My friend do you actually think anyone can answer this question. What make, model, engine, Ford?
