Maybe in a really highly specialized capacity, but your average, run-of-the-mill forklift operator in a warehouse... it's not really that high of a skill, and capable operators are a dime a dozen. If you want to make money doing it, maybe something like getting a CDL and doing flat & fork work would pay decent.
They usually pay up to 20 dollars an hour. With such a risky and scary job, they can sometimes pay more or less. It all depends on what you will be lifting.
The retirement pay at Costco is based on a formula that takes into account factors such as years of service, age at retirement, and average salary. For employees who have worked at Costco for 30 years, the retirement pay would be calculated based on these factors to determine the specific amount. It is recommended to contact Costco's HR department for personalized information.
