In idle? The configuration of the tractor has nothing to do with determining that. It's the motor which does, and the consumption rate in idle for a motor would be the same for a tandem axle dump truck as it would be for the same motor in a road tractor, box truck, quad axle dump truck, cement mixer, etc.
30 L per hour
The salary for a dump truck driver will vary depending on location, experience, and employer. On average, a dump truck driver will make an estimated $18.00 per hour.
On average 70 to 125 per hour
The hourly fuel consumption for a dump truck typically ranges from 10 to 20 gallons per hour, depending on factors such as the size of the truck, the load weight, and the driving conditions. Larger models or those working in heavy-duty applications may consume more fuel, while smaller or more efficient trucks may use less. Additionally, terrain and operational practices can significantly affect overall fuel efficiency.
only around $9
Perth located in Rockingham and Kwinana Washington are hiring dump truck drivers with experience in mining. They are offering $42-$53 per hour, full time.
You need to expense a dump truck at a dollars per hour, as mileage for dump trucking is mostly in a close in area to cities and mostly close to gravel pits, asphalt plants. My own experience is that for every mile you operate a dump truck the cost of operation are double that of road trucks, the wear and tear on them is so much more that the cost of operation is very high, fuel mileage is low due to constant start and stop.
Dump truck drivers make anywhere between twelve dollars to fifty dollars an hour. However, the make an average of fifteen to twenty an hour, which can equal up to one hundred and sixty a day roughly.
