To add transmission fluid to a 2000 Mercedes SUV ML 320, first ensure the vehicle is on a level surface and the engine is warm. Locate the transmission dipstick, which is usually found near the back of the engine bay. Remove the dipstick, wipe it clean, then reinsert and remove it again to check the fluid level. If low, use a funnel to add the appropriate type of transmission fluid through the dipstick tube until it reaches the proper level. Always consult your owner's manual for specific fluid types and capacities.
