Go to the trailer requirement section and it states that if an object does not protrude more than 1.2 meters it's ok whitout a flag or light, nothing reguarding a hitch as it is considered part of the vehicle.

Can you install a tow hitch on a 1994 grand prix?

Yes. I've had one on mine since the spring of '94' I just went to one of those standard install-a-trailer-hitch places (Draw Tite?) as I had just bought a 15' boat. There's nothing complicated other than you probably need an adapter for the trailer lights.

What is the technical difference between draw bar and ball mount?

A drawbar is typically a solid piece of metal that extends from the receiver hitch on a vehicle to provide a connection point for towing trailers. A ball mount is an assembly that includes a shank, platform, and a hitch ball for towing purposes, and can be interchangeable to accommodate different trailer heights. Essentially, the drawbar is the structural piece that fits into the receiver hitch, while the ball mount includes the ball for coupling the trailer.

What is a tongue or draw-bar on a tractor trailer?

These are items you would be more likely to find on a farm tractor than on a tractor-trailer. A tongue is mounted to the frame (or an auxiliary arm), and can facilitate a hitch or mount for pulling a trailer. A drawbar is the bar which extends from the tow vehicle (or another trailer) to a dolly under the front of a trailer. You're not likely to find a tongue on a tractor-trailer. The primary means of coupling is the fifth wheel, and some tractors may additionally be equipped with a pintle mounted on the back of the chassis. Drawbars are more common to dump trucks which transport pup trailers behind them, and doubles combinations which require more significant separation of the two trailers than what a typically A-congear provides.

Where to find a front hitch receiver for a full size Chevy blazer k5 or how to make one?

I just checked with all the major hitch manufacturers including Curt, Hidden Hitch, Reese, Draw-Tite, Putnam and Valley. None of them still produce a front hitch receiver for a K5 Blazer. There were some rear hitches available for the K5, with the least expensive one at Hitches4Less.com. I have included a link to that item in the related links.

Is it illegal to drive with a hitch on your vehicle?

It is not illegal to drive with the draw bar or a ball mount still in the hitch receiver. They do not stick out far enough to require you to put a red flag on them. It is might prove to be dangerous for your shins if you forget it is there and are putting something in the trunk or in the rear hatch of your vehicle.

Does drawbar length matter?

Draw bar length is important and the draw bar length should be at least half the width of the trailer. A shorter trailer drawbar not only indicates a lack of trailer performance, but also hinders the trailer's handling and stability when reversing or turning. Conversely, a longer tow bar significantly increases overall strength and longevity while allowing a more reasonable turning radius and providing more space for the vehicle when reversing. In addition, a longer tow bar is particularly suitable for increasing the distance from the rear axle of the towing vehicle to the front axle of the trailer, thereby improving stability and durability on the road. LUEN hopes this article can help you answer your question about the length of the drawbar trailer
