There are several systems used by Briggs for choke control. Auto choke engines are equipped with a heat sensitive bi-metal coil attached to the exhaust. When cold, the coil closes the choke plate. When heated by exhaust gases, it opens the plate. Most other models have a manual lever to open and close the choke or a primer bulb system.

By measuring them- gunsmiths use a choke guage for a quick check-And by shooting it- if a gun puts the correct percentage of pellets in a 30 inch circle at 40 yards, the choke measurements do not matter. The percentages-Super Full: 80-85 percentFull Choke: 65-70 percentImproved Modified: 55-65 percentModified: 45-55 percentImproved Cylinder: 35-45 percentSkeet: 30-35 percentTrue cylinder (no choke): 25-35 percent

No. You won't even come anywhere close to getting a .410 to chamber in a .45 ACP, nor will you get a rimless .45 ACP cartridge to chamber in a firearm designed for a rimmed .410 shotgun shell.I think you've gotten your .45 cartridges mixed up here. There are some pistols which can be converted from .45 Long Colt to .410 and vice versa with a barrel change or choke tube insert change. Not all .45 LC pistols can do this, however.
Scott Stratton played in 29 games at outfield for the Louisville Colonels in 1889, starting in none of them. He made 45 putouts, had 9 assists, and committed 5 errors, equivalent to .172 errors per game (estimate based on total games played in). He had one double play.

It only has one cylinder ... thetr is no order for firing ... multi cylinder engines have firing orders ... :) Thanks Dave. This has been puzzling me for years but your explaination makes it all clear.
