From my experience it would be traction control active.
When the trac light is off, on a Buick Century, the traction control monitoring system is disengaged. It is recommended to have the trac system engaged on wet roads.
I just put new brakes on my 98 Ford Windstar van but the ABS light and the trac active light is still on, and at times the brakes stalls goes all the way to the floor, and the van acts like the wheels are locking up.
is the trac align light mean
It's for better traction in the snow.
Off
Problem with the ABS.
It means you have turned the Traction Control off.
What does trac off and abs light mean on a 2004 chevy impala
It is the front wheel drive traction control light. When your tires spin on wet roads the traction control helps regain your tires grip on pavement. Find the button and push it. The "trac off" light will go off and it will show "traction active" only when the system is in use. Note that you cant do a burn out with traction control "on". :)
Your car is equipped with Traction Control. This light means it is turned off.
The TRAC OFF light is usually caused by a problem in the ABS system. See the link TRAC OFF DESCRIPTION link below for more info.- TechJK -------------
96 Z with ASR. First time I saw it was right after I bought it on wet pavement. Low Trac means loss of traction.Take your foot out of it or you'll see the "Hold On" light...
