Hold the Dash Button, and then press Left or Right on D-pad. When you are spinning in your shell, release D-pad. To stop Shell Dashing, release the Dash Button.
D with the circle around it.
There is no D button on the PS2 controller.

Craig D. Button died on 1997-04-02.
A "D" with a circle around it is the overdrive off button.
The "W",winter mode button is pressed and you probably put the gear selector lever in position "3". Put selector lever in "D" and press the "E" economy mode button.
There is no D-button, but you may be referring to the D-pad or Direction pad which is the gray + on the left side of the controller.
If you want the overdrive to be on, the light should be off on the dash. The picture on the button has the D in a circle with a line through it, just like a sign that says means "no smoking" & has the cigarette. Overdrive is always on when you start the vehicle.
On automatic transmission models, there should be a button built into the very end of the shift lever - press it and it cycles between O/D on and O/D off. There should be an indicator light on the dash that will tell you which mode it is in.
I have a 1968 D 100 with the shifter mounted in the dash.
It's the button on the speedo next to the 0.0 button :D
