Well I know someone is going to beat this but with regular maintenance I have 365,000 miles on the original engine and transmission. 1997 with a 3.0 V6 5spd. manual and its still going strong. On my 4th set of tires and second clutch and second set of brakes.
I have a 2003 ford ranger v6 with 161000 miles and still run like new
The average life span in miles of a 2000 Ford Ranger XL is between 200,000 and 300,000 miles. This depends on regular maintenance to extend longevity.
Inspect at 120,000 miles , replace if needed ( Ford maintenance and the Gates website ) for the 2.5 liter , 4 cylinder , in a 1999 Ford Ranger
