An unladen motorcycle is a motorbike with no load on it. The term is often associated with measuring aspects of a bike's suspension, which will lower, or compress, to accommodate a load, such as a passenger. For example, the rear shock absorber(s) and front front, as well as the seat height, are reduced by varied degrees when a rider is seated on the bike, compared to when no one is on the bike.
