I have a 84 350 CSB and a tunnel ram with 2 4 barrels plus a 671 blower. what do I need to do to the block
You need a mike unless you are sure it's never been rebuilt. Standard is 4.00 on 350 but it could be 30/40/60 over. A machine shop could tell you.
40 FT. LBS
40-50 lbs
10w-40, would probably be the best bet.
10w-40, until 89. Then 5w-30.
350 divided by 40 is 8.75
350 Chevy's have been around for 40 years, and the horsepower has varied from a low of 145 horsepower to over 400 in factory configurations. It depends on the compression ratio, type of heads, cam, intake, exhaust, and many other variables.
i have a 350 bored 40 over and 400 crank, and been told its a 383 stroker, what is it?
Should bolt right up... that motor didn't change for 40 years.
10w-40 up until 89, then 5w-30.
