In the US from left to right whereas in the UK you would look to the right first as that is the direction from which traffic will first approach and you always look to the danger which is more/most immediate .
Yes, a right turn signal means that a right turn is coming up at the next intersection and you can turn right. The left turn signal sign means the same thing, but that you can turn left.
Before you enter an intersection, search for threatening objects and conditions to the left - vehicles you will encounter first will come from this direction. Look ahead and then to the right. Often drivers fail to see vehicles to the right. Be aware that you are most likely to be hit by a vehicle coming from the right.
It depends on the intersection. In the U.S.: At a four way stop, who ever got there first has the right to go first, even when turning left. If you have a green left turn arrow you have the right of way to turn left. With a solid green light only, or no stop signs, yield to drivers going straight, or if someone is turning right into the same lane you are turning left into, if you got there at the same time, let them go first, they are closer to that lane than you.
If you were at the intersection first, you have right of way.
first the car on the right side then the left then the right again. p.s think about things sometimes ;)
look around for a second to see if any cars are still coming
No
When making a left turn at an intersection, the driver must yield the right-of-way to oncoming traffic.
wait for the semi to go through the intersection. Regardless of who may have the right-of-way, if you're in a car never argue with a semi.
When turning left at an intersection with a green arrow, you have the right of way over oncoming traffic and pedestrians.
When the light turns green at an intersection, the vehicles that have the right of way are those going straight or turning right. They should proceed first before vehicles turning left or pedestrians crossing the street.
If you're walking look, first, over your left shoulder for vehicles turning right, and then look right for vehicles not stopping . If your driving, look left, then right, then left again. specially for motorcycles.
