As licensed repo man I can tell you we must notify the local P.D. within 1 hour that the car was picked up as a repo, where it will be stored, and what the name of lender is. To find it call lender or call local P.D. and report it stolen at which time P.D. will tell you its a repo and where it is.
yes if you can find someone that will finance it for you... good luck look for places that don't do credit checks
The lender who holds the note on your car, is the one that repossessed your car.
you better go look in you driveway
ASK the lender.
The local police or the lender can tell you who has the car.
if i get my car repossessed, can they put a llien on the house?
Your car was probably repossessed by the lender who owns the car until you pay for it. Call your lender and they will be able to tell you how to locate your repossessed car.
If you want to be charged with making a false report on top of losing your car. If it has been repossessed legally, you have no real claim on it and aren't supposed to find it. Pay what is owed on it and whoever has it must produce the car.
I could call the loan holder, or I could have you do it.
CALL the LENDER who had it repoed. they know where it is.
No, but your car can be repossessed if you don't make the payments.
Buying a repossessed car today can be a great way to save money, but be careful to inspect the car to be sure there are no hidden problems since they are typically sold "as is". Some dealers specialize in repossessed cars and you can also find them at a local auction.
