It is on the Right side of the Heater Core Covering.
Drop the glove box door; I believe you will then be able to see it. when you drop the glove box. the dog house is there. this is a van.

Normally the wires and plug in can be purchased at the GM dealership. Will have to cut the wires back if they are melted and solder the wires together. Can also use a heat shrink butt connector to connect wires. Recommend the heater resistor be replaced and the heater blower motor be checked for wear or noisy bearings.
resistor usually located by blower motor.blower only works on low or high, then replace resistor .do not replace hvac unit in dash waste of time and money
A heater fan that runs anytime the key is on is usually caused by a failed blower resistor. The blower resistor is located behind the glove box door. You open the glove box and pull inward on the stop bumpers on the sides to remove door. Look in and you will see two plugs on the resistor. Unplug them, remove two screws, and remove the resistor.
