some places to look, check the decel/ set button for a fault, check the brake light switch near the brake pedal, check that the speedometer is not malfunctioning or showing a fluctuating speed
Steady speed is when you maintain the same speed level. E.G. using cruise control.
I have a 2002 Duramax 80,000 miles I have a steady 16mpg to and from work about 20 miles, and on trips running cruise control at 73-74 I have a steady 18.5mpg. Not bad for a truck of its sizebut it could be better.
The cruise control on a Lincoln allows the vehicle to be operated at a steady speed over long distances. It is programmed by the driver to allow for the gas to be vehicle controlled.
1) turn on cruise control (a light should turn on somewhere) 2) increase or decrease speed to desired mph 3) press button or apparatus to set or reset cruise 4) take foot off gas peddel and the car should maintain steady speed. I've had 2 VW's and the cruise didn't work in either one....perhaps your cruise just doesn't work.
tap the brake pedal there is also a cruise control wand immediately behind the steering wheel at approximately the 10'o'clock position. You can control the cruise control with this stalk. Pushing it forward while you are at a steady speed will lock the speed in. Pushing the stalk forward will disengage CC. Pushing it down will slowly reduce the speed. Pulling it back will slowly raise the speed. But touching the brake should always completely disengage the system.
Proportional control in a cruise control system would adjust the throttle in direct proportion to the difference between the desired speed and the actual speed of the vehicle. This would help maintain a steady speed by gradually increasing or decreasing the throttle input. However, it may struggle to quickly respond to sudden changes in road conditions or traffic, as it relies on a linear relationship between the error signal and the control action.
yes it can be that the oil is frezzing Alternatively, and according to a dealer, when the check engine light comes on it also inactivates the cruise control, resulting in what you are experiencing with both the check engine light being on and the cruise light flashing.
EDC Stands for Electronic Diesel Control, A similar system to Fuel injection. If the light is on steady, then Drive the vehicle with caution, but get it seen to as soon as possible. If the light is flashing, don't drive the vehicle, and get it checked out immediately.
Steady state error in control systems is the difference between the desired output of a system and the actual output when the system reaches a constant state under a specific input. It indicates how well the system is tracking the desired setpoint. Lower steady state error values indicate better performance of the control system.
Steady at the helm with a weather eye on the lookout.
A specialized foot control can also be configured for this operation. ... This extra support acts to steady hand movements when working on the microscope ...to the dental team relative to instrument transfer because the assistant does not ... the operator can focus his/her complete attention on the task at hand. ..
1, 439 minutes, assuming your cruise control is set at a steady 60mph. Keep in mind, this is a give-or-take-some-odd-minutes, depending on how frequently you stop. This goes for bathroom breaks, tank fill-ups, stop lights/signs, etc.
