Yes it would
Mass Air Flow Sensor.
A bad Mass airflow sensor - on any GM vehicle that is equipped with one - will DEFINITELY stop the engine from running.
Perhaps a bad ignition coil? Perhaps a bad temperature sensor?
It could keep the engine from running, but not the valves from moving.
No. However it can affect the idle and power. It will affect the air-fuel mixture resulting in an increase in emissions and gas mileage.
No it will not. It only controlls the idle of the engine.
You risk running somebody over, but the ice cream truck has no actual legal authority to compel traffic to stop.
I have had the same problem and it was a crank sensor. The truck would be fine and then all of a sudden it would die, and it would start back up no problem.
Turn it off.
it sounds most likely to be an electrical problem.
No it will not. YOU have another problem.
It should be ---- Juicy Lucy's Truck Stop.
