Requirements
Step 1 - wear the saree jacket and underskirt. Ensure the underskirt is tightened well around the waist.
Step 2 - Pleat the tail end such that when collected together the pleats are approximately 3-4 inches in width. Place all pleats on left shoulder such that the pleats reach to ankle level.
Step 3 - With the pleats secure and flowing at the back, return to the front of the saree once again. Secure the plats at waist level by trying a cotton cord. This cord will then be used for the rest of the draping hence it must be reasonably tight.
Step 4 - Take the saree towards the left. Gently ease the saree through the string creating a frill. Continue this step until a frill is created at front and back.
Step 6 - The saree must be taken right around systematically tucking it into the cord and securing with safety pins. Ensure the saree reaches your ankles as you tuck it in.
Step 7 - Reaching the front, the head piece will now come to the front. Secure the head piece by pinning under the frills, neaten the saree by ensuring that it reaches the ground level.
