The mintage coin data for Spanish 25 peseta gold coin is called the beard bust and is 90% gold. You can go www.coindatabase.com/coin_spain.php?pais=620 to check my answer.
I really doubt if you have a 'coin' of that size, but 25 ounces of gold would be worth $20,000 - $24,000.
It isn't gold, it is gold plated. It is worth 25 cents. It is a damaged coin from a collector's perspective. It was not done at the mint.

No US Mint has ever struck a 25 cent gold coin.
Red is rarest-around 25 percent
The value of this coin is based on the spot price of gold at time of sale. A $25.00 coin is one half ounce of gold so value is half of spot price.
$725 to $1075 depending upon the condition of the coin.
It is only gold plated. This adds no value to the coin. It is considered an altered coin and is worth 25 cents.
Check that coin again. The US never minted a $25 gold piece, and the last year for gold coinage was 1932.
