This includes conflict management which is essentially managing conflict situations to minimise conflict. Such skills include effective communication, body language, listening, constructive arguing, persuasion, eye contact, empathy, empowerment and all the natural skills you employ when communicationg with someone. The skiills differ for each of the various communication forums...telephone, public speaking, one to one, argument/disagreement, written. Oral presentation can be given as either seen or heard and the skill in orating is as interpersonal as any other communication skill. The 3 C's of resolving conflict are communication, compromise, and cooperation. Effective communication is key to understanding the root of the conflict, compromise involves finding a middle ground that satisfies both parties, and cooperation is essential for working together towards a solution.
Peace is a state of harmony, free from conflict or violence, where there is mutual respect and understanding. Conflict, on the other hand, is a disagreement or struggle between individuals or groups with opposing interests or ideas, often leading to tension and hostility. Peace promotes unity and cooperation, while conflict can result in division and negative consequences.
Collaboration and cooperation are not results of conflict. Conflict typically involves disagreement, tension, and competition, which can hinder collaboration and cooperation.
