Ads exist for one reason and one reason only, to influence people in some way, whether that is to influence them to buy or to influence them to your point of view. A bad ad is one that does not get the response that you desire. If you want more people to buy your product and it doesn't happen then the ad is bad. If you want to drive people to a web site and it doesn't happen then the ad is bad.

One ad can be good and it can also be bad. It could be that you use the same ad in two different publications, in one it gets the response you desire in the other it doesn't. So the ad is good in one set of circumstances but bad in another. You could say here that the ad placement choice was bad and not the ad itself. It should have either been a different ad for that publication or that publication should not have been used.

What is difference between adhoc and infrastructure mode?

Ad hoc mode:An Ad-hoc network allows each device to communicate directly with each other. There is no central Access Point controlling device communication. Ad-hoc networks are only able to communicate with other Ad-hoc devices, they are not able to communicate with any Infrastructure devices or any other devices connected to a wired network. In addition, Ad-hoc mode security is less sophisticated compared to an Infrastructure mode network.Infrastructure mode:An Infrastructure mode network requires the use of an Access Point. The Access Point controls Wireless communication and offers several important advantages over an Ad-hoc network. For example, a Infrastructure based network supports increased levels of security, potentially faster data transmission speeds and integration with a wired network.

What is an example of Verbal Irony in Ads?

Irony is the opposite of its literal meaning. An example of an ironic ad is the ad for asbestos in 1981. It says "When life depends on it, you use asbestos". As we all know asbestos causes cancer so that is pretty ironic.
