Bubanee pronounced as bub a knee is a name used by a highly known and sought after p2p (peer to peer) username. Some say and quote Music aXXo when in fact that the word bubanee is a made up name derived from Australian slang. bub is known as 'what are you doing bub, hows it going bub, bubanee is also known as bub and bubs' which is the Australian indigeonus for 'mate' But on further searching it appears that the person behind the username made a post in the Mininova Community saying that Bubanee is a small child who is mischevious, bubanee is a pure made up word.

A simple common user on (KAT) Kickasstorrents named "Afterlife" at the time came up with the concept HTD, that same user a few years later and given a name change and highest ranking status on site as Administrator became "Mr.Pink" . Two up and coming members at the time Afterlife(Mr.Pink) and bubanee(Now internets No.1 music uploader) were throwing ideas about how to make the members enjoy being on the site and how to make the site stand out. Afterlife came up with the idea HTD to celebrate a 1 day of the year for file sharers(pirates) . Seemingly bubanee had one answer "Jackpot" Kickasstorrents Site Administrator "Mr.Pink" was the creator of this day and all came about within two guys having a chat on site. Now Happy Torrents Day is celebrated by millions around the world.
