No it can not. It would have to be concave or convex(not sure which). A real image would be if you looked at the mirror and on the wall next to you were projected.

Can plane mirror form real image?

No, a plane mirror cannot form a real image. It forms a virtual image that appears to be behind the mirror at the same distance as the object is in front of it.

How does a plane mirror form a real image?

A plane mirror does not form a real image. It produces a virtual image, which appears to be behind the mirror and is the same size and orientation as the object being reflected.

does a plane mirror produces a real image?

"Real" and "virtual" are two opposite, mutually exclusive categories of images. An image is either one or the other, and no image can be both. The image produced by a plane mirror is a virtual one.

Can a plane mirror form real and inverted image?

No, a plane mirror can only form virtual and upright images. The image produced by a plane mirror appears to be behind the mirror, the same distance as the object in front of the mirror, and is always the same size as the object.

Is a plane mirror a virtual or real image?

A plane mirror forms a virtual image because the reflected rays do not actually converge to form an image behind the mirror, but appear to diverge from a point behind the mirror.

Which does not form a real image?

(1)A plane mirror (2)A convex mirror (3)A concave lens

Is the image in a plane mirror real?

NO its not

Can a plane mirror form a real image if the object is virtual?

No, a plane mirror will always produce a virtual image regardless of whether the object is real or virtual. The image appears to be behind the mirror and is not a real image that can be projected onto a screen.

Does a plane mirror always form the image of an object exactly on the plane reflecting surface?

A plane mirror doesn't 'really' form an image at all. The image is 'virtual', not 'real'. You see what appears to be an image. It's located at the same distance behind the reflecting surface as the actual object is in front of it. If a real image exists, you can always put a piece of frosted glass, photo-film, or tissue paper where the image is, and capture it. You can't do that with a plane mirror.

Is the image you see in a plane mirror a real image or a virtual image?

virtual :-)

Pictures of real image formed by plane mirror?

When the incident light rays are falling towards the mirror in such a way that the light rays after falling on the mirror meet at any point in front of the mirror than an image is formed in front of the mirror which can be taken on a screen and as the image can be taken on a screen it is known as a real image. So, plane mirrors can form real images.
