What effect does annealing have on magnetic iron?

Annealing will soften "magnetic iron" and create a slightly larger metallic crystal structure that should work better for allowing a magnetic field to "flow" through it (which we call permeability). A link is provided.

What is Genetic Annealing?

the production of a new genome through the transfer of part of the genome of one organism to another organism.

What is the difference between annealing and normalizing?

Annealing is the process of bringing a piece of steel up to its critical temperature, and then letting it cool very, very slowly (many hours to cool to room temperature). This causes the crystalline structure of the steel to become all pearlite/cementite/ferrite (depending on the carbon content). All these structures are extremely soft; the annealed condition represents about the softest state that steel can get without being heated to forging temperature.Annealed steel really is very soft and can be cold forged somewhat. It grinds "like butter" (a length of bar stock could easily be bent in two along its narrow axis with your bare hands, and with a vise, it can also be quite easily bent along its widest dimension as well). This makes it very easy to form the steel to shape via grinding or forging. After you grind or forge the bar to shape, you should perform a related process to annealing called "normalizing". There's not a lot of difference between annealing and normalizing. In normalizing, the goal is to relieve stresses and more importantly, to ensure a consistent and fine grain size rather than to soften the metal, so the slow cool isn't quite as critical for normalizing. The grinding and or heating/cooling and hammering performed during the shaping of the blade tends to induces stresses in the blade. Relieving work/heating induced stresses through normalization helps prevent or reduce the amount of warpage when you harden the blade, and refining the grain helps produce stronger blades that hold a better edge. When normalization is done, you can perform the hardening procedure - you heat the steel up to its critical temperature again, but this time, instead of letting it cool slowly, you quench it quickly in a quench medium (this could be water, brine, oil, or even air, depending on the type of steel you use) so that it cools very quickly. This causes the crystalline structure to re-arrange into a different form called martensite, which is an extremely hard form of steel capable of holding a keen edge. Now although you relieved stresses prior to hardening, the quench procedure tends to induces new stresses of its own, so a subsequent tempering draw or the reheating of the blade to a relatively low temperature (well below red hot) results in stress relief and the decomposition of some of the martensite into another form called troosite which is slightly less hard, but much tougher. The blade thus becomes less brittle and gains more "spring". So you see that in addition to the usual heat-treating process of hardening and the subsequent drawing of temper, annealing and normalization can play an important role in the creation of a fine blade.Source(s):http:/swordforum.com/forge/annealing.ht...

Where does someone go for a yeast infection treatment?

You would need to visit a doctor about a yeast infection treatment. Going to your doctor would be your best chance instead of solving it yourself. Doctors will help you through it.

im court ordered to go through treatment and you choose to pay instead of letting the state pick up the tab can you get through it in less time if so how much is the cost?

Who pays does not effect how long the treatment it is. It is as long as they feel it needs to be to be effective they will not rush you through for paying more but might keep you longer if you paid extra for it.

What are Changes takes place in grains of steel during rolling and annealing?

Prior to the rolling of steel, the grains of the steel are oriented in long strands of caribides in the billet form. When this billet goes through the rolling process, these strands are compressed and broken up into shorter bands. This rolling process densifies the steel and thereby work hardens the steel. These work hardened grains become too hard for any further rolling to take place and they must be annealed. The annealing process entails heating the bar or billet to about 1600 degrees F and holding for a long period of time. Through annealing, the steel grains are softened so that additional rolling can be performed. For additional information on the rolling and annealing of steel, terminology or the properties of steel, see the related link.

Can you work whilist going through chemotherapy?

What is a scientific treatment?

If by treatment you mean a medical treatment for some illness, a scientific treatment would be one that has been developed and confirmed by scientific means, through the use of controlled experiments.

How is waste water treated in a treatment plant?

For common waste water treatment process start from filtration of garbage then go through coagulation and flocculation and sedimentation to remove suspense solid. The pretreated water then go through the biological treatment which could be an aerobic treatment or anaerobic treatment. The effluent would go through final filtration - sedimentation before discharge. For a specific waste water treatment, it may involve neutralization, electrodialytic or absorbent to separated out specific contamination such as heavy metal.
