Class A : 0-126

Class B : 128-191

Class C : 191-224

Class D : 224-239

Class E : 240-255

Note : The ip 127 is dedicated for Loopback testing and cannot be assigned to a network

Every machine on the internet­ has a unique identifying number, called an IP Address. A typical IP address looks like this:
