Information System
information system
A computer system is hardware and software the people use to complet a task. Example: The average computer system at home is a monitor, tower (PC), keyboard and mouse. All these things you and physically touch. The software is what's installed in the hardware. You cannot physically touch software. When you turn on the computer you press a power button, that's part of the hard-ware. What you see displayed on the screen is the result of hardware and software working together translated to you in a way you can understand what the computer is doing so you can do what you need to do on the computer.
QUest
• Hardware - Can range from a PC to a network of computers. • Software - DBMS, operating system, network software (if necessary) and also the application programs. • Data - Used by the organization and a description of this data called the schema. • Procedures - Instructions and rules that should be applied to the design and use of the database and DBMS. • People - The people that participate in the database environment.
Hardware and software. Hardware is divided into input, output, storage, process that are classified through its function. Software is divided into operating system (OS) and Application System.
An information system have five parts ext :people, procedures, hardware, software and data. Typically, people 's the most important of an information system.
A: People, Procedures, Hardware & Software
Hardware, Software, Data, Procedures, People People use procedures to make the software manipulate the hardware in order to extract data to create useful information for the user.
Procedures or Protocols
People, Procedures, Software, Hardware, and Data.
Hardware: Physical equipment that makes up the system. Software: Programs and applications that run on the hardware. Data: Information that is input, processed, and stored by the system. People: Individuals who interact with the system, including users and IT professionals. Procedures: Rules and guidelines that govern how the system is used and managed.
Hardware Software Data Procedures People
People, procedures, software, hardware, and data are the five parts of an information system.
1. Hardware (Equipment that processes the data to create information) 2. Software (Step-by-step instructions that convert data into information) 3. Data (unprocessed facts) 4. Procedures (Rules or guidelines to follow when using Hardware and software 5. People (End user who is the most important part of IS)
There are five components of information technology systems. These are the hardware, software, data, procedures, as well as the people.
the hardware, software, people forms, policies and procedures, and data that helps to reduce the amount of time spent on transactional activities
the Components of DBMS according to "Database System" a book written by Connoly-Begg are : * Hardware * Software * Data * Procedures * People
The components of a DBMS environment typically include the database, DBMS software, hardware infrastructure, application programs, users, and data itself. The software manages data storage, retrieval, and manipulation, while the hardware provides the necessary computing resources. Application programs interact with the DBMS to access and process data, and users interact with the system through these applications.
