Yes it has. Man has been independently strong for thousands of years and modern communication ties have broken down the trust factor in man. People used to have trust and trust alone that their loved one will be back if say they went on a voyage or migration, but now they are in touch every second. Also man has the ability to improvise to survive. Do you know how to build the computer screen you watch, or precisely forged every inch of your automobile. We do not know even we to start, not even the basics. The last important factor is before machinery humans perused a task that would result in more energy.
