Factory resetting your Arlo wire-free camera returns your Arlo wire-free camera to its default settings and eliminates the camera from your account. It indicates that you must follow the Arlo app setup method to run your Arlo camera after a factory reset.

To factory reset my Arlo wire-free camera:

1. Press and hold the sync button on the Arlo camera for approximately 15 seconds until the camera LED starts glowing amber, then let go.

Note: If you possess an Arlo Ultra old or newer or Arlo Pro 3 old or newer cameras, you must release the camera from the camera installation to reach the sync button.

2.Make sure that the Arlo camera LED glows amber three times.

4.For re-adding your Arlo camera to the Arlo app:

a. Open the Arlo app or log .

The Devices page will appear on the screen.

b. Hit or click the settings icon under the Arlo camera feed.

c. Scroll to the bottom of the Device Settings page, and click the Remove Device button.

d. Close the Device Settings page opened on the screen.

e. Close the Device Settings page opened on the screen.

f. Click the Add New Device field displayed on the Devices page.

g. Choose Cameras, and follow the instructions to connect your Arlo camera to your Wi-Fi network and set it up.

You can also perform a factory reset on your Arlo wire-free camera in the Arlo app. Hit Device Settings > Remove Device requiring the Arlo camera to be online and to have battery power.

If you want to give access to Arlo camera to someone or your family member, you need to follow instructions written below.

• Open the app on your device and go to the Settings Option

• Click on the Grant Access

• Click on the “+” option in the top right end

• Write the user name and email adders in the first section on the top

Go down and select the Arlo cameras you want to give access to the user. Tap on the camera and select minimum one camera.

Then at the underneath, you need to either activate or deactivate “Allow Access Rights”, that will provide user admin control. You are now allowed to edit settings and remove the video as per your wish. If you wish to give users access see live footage m then make this feature disabled
