yes , this acceptable that eventhough candidate is more TECHNICALLY strong , companies just sees academic grade more 60% (it does not matter candidate is dull/average) .
few option are :
1> do a job in non MNC for 1-2 year . AFTER EXPERIENCE nobody will ask about MARKSHEET AND GRADE .
2>if your technically strong then try to accept another challenge TO START YOUR OWN COMPANY...
therefore i suggest junior , "just concentrate on marks/grade " do not try to get more knowledge beside syllabus (because it of no use).
