That depends on what those advances were and in what period of history. In general, middle-class families benefit from access to new consumer products and transportation at the point where it becomes affordable enough for them to purchase it.

As an example, hydrogen powered vehicles are a cool new advance in transportation, but currently only the upper class have access to that advance because the cost is prohibitive. Therefore, the advance doesn't affect the middle class much at all, even in the areas where there is support for the new technology. When the cost comes down and the middle-class has access, then that will likely drive a larger support structure, and they will become more available to people in other areas as well.

Is NCSA a scam?

You Bet. They are all salesmen. They get paid when you put in your credit card and you will never hear from the "scout" who had qualified you to give him your money. This is a great program for the lazy parent who wants to place there kids future on people who could care less. They spoke with my nephew and said he needed to qualify. My nephew couldn't play college ball in a Disney movie. My sister forked over 2400 dollars so they could sell her the dream. They will enroll anyone with cleats and a credit card. Think about it, they enroll close to 2000 students A MONTH every Month and have four recruiting coaches, again 4 recruiting coaches who more than likely have never played the sport you enrolled for, guiding 24,000 families a year through the process. I'm not a genius but... that's not possible. Two guys sipping coffee editing 500 videos in a week.. not possible. Check it out, go to their website and click on staff and scroll through recruiting coaches, then video editors. You then can click on scout staff and see form the top long meaningless titles i.e., as Nation Scouting Direct Vice President. Huh? What it means is that the longer the title the greasier the sales pitch. How can you evaluate a kid you never seen play? duh. No matter what they tell you it- can't be -done. You show me a Coach that issues a scholarship to a kid he has never seen and I will show you a coach without a job. The owner, Cris Cross, "pays" for the NFLPA, Under Armor and Schuman and all other for his affiliation to make families believe it is legit. The A+ Rating from the BBB is a matter of settling disputes and refunds for the families AND only the families who make a huge fuss to get their money back. Please save your money 2400 is the year fee to a small college. Good luck/ the smaller plan 800 will get you one phone call to say welcome.

Why is apple bad?

Well they don't really have the best of lives. They live with their families, only to be picked off the tree in a couple months filled with worms and have to be washed from their memories while they are piled into the mouths of awaiting dogs such as you and I. There lives are just horrible.

What technology was there in 1919?

By 1910, many suburban homes had been wired up with power and new electric gadgets were being patented with fervor. On February 27, 1912, in New York, Wilhelm Roentgen discovered X-rays when doctors removed a nail from a boy's lungs. On November 8, 1911, Marie Curie won the Nobel Prize for chemistry, discovering a new source called radium. One thing that is very important is the telephone and traffic light. Another thing that was invented was the refrigerator. Vacuum cleaners and washing machines had just become commercially available, though were still too expensive for many middle-class families. The telephone was introduced in 1910, with millions of American homes already connected by manual switchboard. Advances in the use of gases chilled the world out with the release of the first electric refrigerators and air-conditioning units, while French inventor Georges Claude harnessed neon in glass tubes and debuted neon lighting in Paris, changing the face of seedy advertising forever.
