Remove the instrument panel cover. Remove the tachometer retaining screws. Remove the tachometer cable from the back of the tachometer. Reverse the process to install the new tachometer.

Hi, I have a 1988 Chevy S10 pickup truck with a 2.8L V6. I want to add a tachometer to the piller pod I have. The tachometers I bought thus far wont work as the directions the units included were of no help at all. I tryed toe connections on the coil and the distribater, no luck. NOW WHAT ??
