The closest thing to tricking it comes from using an anonymous proxy tool that tricks the computer into thinking it is a privatized network, however this will not help some cases for access to sites; Hulu is a case that it will not work because it detects these networks. Others do not even have authorization to stream on private networks at all. However software that is more expensive can occasional bypass this as well.
