You cannot do. If you have static Ip addresses then just change one of them to a different one. I would not believe that you have two equal dynamic Ips, unless it's from different routers (dhcp servers).
A standard telephone line cannot be shared with two computers at the same time. You must disconnect one computer (hang up, no need to actually unplug the cord) in order to connect to the internet with another.
a computer and tree are the same because trees have roots and computers have webs
The computers should still be able to communicate with each other, regardless of whether or not they are all using the same operating system, as long as all of the computers are on the same network.
With stand-alone computers, you have to manually transfer files to view it on another computer. If you have a file server though, everything is saved to the same place and any computer hooked up to it can open the files
You use a PC modem to connect to the Internet. It will generally connect through to your Internet Service Provider (ISP). It allows either one computer - or a group of computers which are served by the same router - to connect to other systems. Its designed purpose is a) to send information outwards and b) to receive information inwards and to do both of those things at the same time.
You can use wireless network cards to connect two computers to the same network so you can play computer games. Another way to connect two computers is to use a crossover cable between them using the Ethernet ports so they see each other and assign an IP address.
One method is to use a printer switch box. See related links for some example devices. Another method would be to connect the printer to one computer and share the printer with another computer on the same network.

You have to have: 1 home computer that you don't turn off much, a wireless router, and another computer to connect with. Plug in the router to the "server" computer and go to Network and Sharing center. Setup wireless network WITHOUT internet connection. Both computers have to be in the same Workgroup.
Best way is to connect both computers to the same computer network (within the same router, or switch). You can also connect them directly using a crossed patch cable, or wireless by creating an ad-hoc Wi-Fi connection of these two computers (if both have Wi-Fi adapters).
You hook the console up to the computers ethernet port. They will both be able to be used at the same time.
Yes, you can. Your office computer should be connected to Intranet Connection and your home computer should also connect to the same network then you can share the files and folders

You need computers to connect with Cabling to connect them with (such as CAT5) Device to control communications (such as a switch) All need to use the same client (Microsoft Client) Will need to be on same address scheme.
Plug in one end of the Ethernet cables into the computer and the other end into either another computer or into an Ethernet switch with other computers connected the same way. Then set up you network settings according to your needs. Easiest way would be to connect all the computers into a router and have it control the network.
You can use many types of cables, but the most common are USB or LAN, found in almost every computer. Simply locate a cord of one of these sorts and connect it to both computers. They should now be connected. Also, some laptops have software pre-installed that let you connect to another with the same software, allowing you to lose the cords and communicate with another computer remotely. -paxromana, Feb. 2 2011
You need: * 5 Computers * A at least 5 ports switch * 5 adequate long CAT5 cables to connect switch and computers Connect one end of every cable to the switch. And the other ends to computers. Power up the switch. Be sure all computers are in the same WORKGROUP.
