First, you run away and be careful not to fall in a bottomless pit. Shoot Frostwind with a snowball whenever he snaps at you, and watch out or you'll get surprised by him when he dives down into one of the holes. After you get past the first part, you get to be on this tiny island with Frostwind shooting icicles at you. HIS AIM SUCKS, fortunately. Anyway, he will fly overhead and shoot icicles on either side of you. Then he'll pop up on one side or another and shoot an icicle directly at you. Sometimes, this one hits. But Frostwind is only vulnerable to being shot at when he tries to take a bite out of you. Even if he succeeds, if you have fast reflexes you can still shoot him. Then do a Ground Bounce (hold A + down button) on his unconscious head, and a quarter of his stamina will go away. Repeat these steps and you should free Heather in no time. Note: Even after you defeat Frostwind, you can still move, so if you jump off one of the ends of the cliff you're on, you can still die and have to start halfway through your epic battle #1.
