You will need to reformat the entire hard drive. This requires having all the original CD's that accompanied your PC when you first obtained it.
Be warned that in doing so, you will be erasing all the updates received over the years, which may or may not be available anymore. Any updates to drivers will also be lost. This should only be done as a last resort to any malfunctioning PC. Try a "low level reformat" instead.
