How does a kaleidoscope work in a diagram?

To draw a kaleidoscope, draw an upright rectangle on the right hand side. Now, draw a triangle on the left hand side, that the diagram takes a shape like an arrow. Now draw a circle inside the extreme left corner of the triangle. Draw two more circles inside the first circle you drew. A kaleidoscope doesn't work in a diagram, it works with light. Basically the light bounces around inside, and then hits your eye, but because of all the mirrors, it comes out with some cool patterns.
