A way that a camera is used in everyday life is taking pictures! (obviously) Or if that isn't what you were looking for, there is also the fact that life wouldn't be the same without it, for instance there wouldn't be any pictures in newspapers, books, excreta, excreta, excreta! Hope this helps! :)
