How many people hack?

Well, Many people consider hackers to be crazy people who really try and spend all their time "hacking" people, but really hacking isn't as easy as many people think it is, this question is hard to answer but it would actually be a lot less than many would think.

To become the most wanted computer person on this planet first ask embarrassing questions and then use the answers to break other peoples computers. Some people have heard of the Don't ask Don't tell some military use.

There is no way to tell, since many owners of the compromised systems may not be aware that they have been hacked. Suffice it to say, there are many, many computers that get hacked or accounts that get compromised. In many cases as well there is no requirement to notify anyone that this has happened.

It's impossible to adequately answer that question. Perhaps the most accurate answer would be "pick the biggest integer you can think of - now find a bigger number". The actual number of hacks detected is staggering. The undetected ones probably dwarf that number.
