Workshop Practice
In the modern engineering curriculum, workshop and laboratory practices have acquired greater importance in recent years. Workshop and laboratory practices have become a more specialized and sophisticated field with the major and rapid advancement in very precise instrumentation and computerized manufacturing techniques.
In order to gain a good basic knowledge of manufacturing process, a student entering the first year of engineering degree/diploma, should undergo a course on workshop practice. This gives an overall knowledge about various engineering materials, tools, equipment and processes that are common in the engineering field.
A workshop is a place where the raw material is converted and transformed into finished products. The workshop technology gives the basic working knowledge for the production of various engineering products and it explains the construction, function, use and application of different working tools, equipment, machines as well as the technique of manufacturing a product from its raw material.
Many of the aspects of workshop technique can only be acquired by experience, by studying on the spot with the help of experienced craftsmen and skilled tradesmen. To understand the subject- workshop technology and to develop the skill, an engineering student has to practice the workshop processes, starting from simple models to complicated products. It is to be noted that, the basic knowledge of composition, properties and use of different materials, fundamentals about the process of manufacturing, use of hand tools and operations, and allied techniques, convert an ordinary student of science into an engineer. The basic knowledge and experience in workshop processes also facilitate a sound foundation for further advanced engineering studies.
Preparations for Workshop Practice
An engineering student who is going to do workshop practice, has to prepare the following, prior to practice:
• Keep Work Record/Rough Record
• Fair Record ( to be approved & certified by workshop authorities)
• Pen, clutch pencil, eraser and straight edge
• Wear tight dress preferably the specified Workshop Uniform
• Girl students have to tie their hair and tuck neatly
• Wear safety shoes
• Study about the process, tools, equipment and material being used for the practice.

That would be Oceanography I believe.
its the things made by naturethe branch of knowledge dealing with engineering or applied sciences.
because if that is not done our future leaders will be unable to use the IT tools
Most obvious one, cells are very very small so in order to view them to study them we need to employ technology that can magnify them, such as the various microscopes that have been invented. We can't really see cells without them!
I have attended several workshops, but when we attend a workshop provided by Geekslab Technology, then we have find the workshop was really awesome. The trainer was really so intractive so that every student can easily become familiar with him.The workshop toolkit and study material was really helpful for us. We had attended three workshops of geekslab that was on Autonomous Robotics in IIT Guwahati , Ethical Hacking at NSIT Delhi and Android Applications Development at HBTI Kanpur.
You need: I.C.T, Maths, Additional Maths, Physics and Technology (and whatever else you want). You need additional maths to take on maths to AS Level. I.C.T is an absolute must and Technology goes well with it and Physics is 1/3 of the engineer part along with Technology and Maths.
There are many types of engineers such as:aerospace engineers,canal engineers,chemical engineers,civil engineers,electrical engineers,environmental engineers,genetic engineers,industrial engineers,materials engineers,mechanical engineers,structural engineers,systems engineers,just to name a few.Some of which do study cars.

You don't necessarily need to, but it will be extremely helpful for most jobs to at least know your way around a computer. The use of technology is quickly rising and is used by most institutions. If you know how to use technology properly, it will allow you to work more efficiently.

A: I DID electrical is a study of current flow. electronics is a study of electrons emission.
If you want to study Technology as a career then you need to study at a University. They will be able to explain to you what parts of Technology they teach.
