Additionally, being on a slant should have no effect on your hard drive, or indeed any hardware in your computer. I cant imagine that damaging it. In fact in many computer cases the hard drive is mounted vertically or even upside down, this shouldn't cause any problems.
I wonder if perhaps it was something else that was clicking (say a stray wire in front of a fan) & maybe you just think it was the hard disk. The only way to know for sure is to open up the case, put your hand on the drive & see if you can feel the clicking coming through in vibrations on the hard disk.
In conclusion the "click of death" is a well known sign of a dying hard disk due to malfunctions in the read/write head assembly. You would do well to replace the disk as your primary boot device, theres no reason you cant keep using it for non-critical storage though.
My HDMI cable stopped working.
It's an old term that has just stuck around. The story is told of people who were working on one of the early computers. The computer suddenly stopped working and everyone started going over every component individually. That computer used mechanical relays to make many of the circuits function, and the story is that a moth became trapped in one of the closed relays. Since the moth wing did not allow the relay to function properly it had to be removed before the computer would work. From that experience came the term "bug". It was said that the computer stopped working because it had a "bug" in it. Of course it follows that once the "bug" was removed, the computer continued to work. From that came the term "debugging". The term is used in all aspects of computer hardware and software. Many programmers and computer professionalsstill use the term "bug" to describe any problem with computer hardware or code.

Apparently it is the rear air "blender" ( whatever that is(?)) My 2003 Explorer was making the loud clicking sound from the rear driver side above the rear left wheel. I lived with it for a month before I just found the answer on the net. I turned off the rear fan control (from the front controls) and the clicking has stopped. I guess there is no more air from the rear now but the clicking has stopped- Car is long been paid off and I'm happy again.
On my Astra M reg I noticed a slow clicking when driving slowley which increased in temo as my speed went up, I figured it was the speedo. A few weeks later my speedo cable snapped and the clicking stopped, Just looking for replacement Speedo cable now...
The slowest computer bus would be a stopped or halted computer bus, since there would be infinite time between operations.
Turn on the signal and listen for the clicking noise. If it is still clicking occasionally then you can follow the noise and feel where it is located. If it has totally stopped then look on top of the steering column behind the steering wheel.
one solution is that your computer might be slow second solution skype might messed up your computer third solution is you might have a virus.
You computer is working furiously to get rid of the virus, but it has not stopped working. give it a while to finish and it will be okay.
