light source
Pixels
Well, they outside of most TVs are plastic, they are also made out of screens, like for example your computer screen. The show goes on the TV is from a satellite, from a place from who knows where has a video tape put into another TV (big one at that) then the satellite and then it appears on the clear screen.
Well, honey, a light pen is as old-school as a rotary phone. It's basically a fancy stick that can detect light and send signals to a computer when you point it at the screen. Think of it like a high-tech pointer for selecting stuff on your computer screen. But let's be real, you're better off using a mouse or your finger these days.
A light pen is a computer input device in the form of a light-sensitive wand used in conjunction with a computer's CRT TV set or monitor. It allows the user to point to displayed objects, or draw on the screen, in a similar way to a touch screen but with greater positional accuracy. A light pen can work with any CRT-based display, but not with LCD screens (though Toshiba and Hitachi displayed a similar idea at the "Display 2006" show in Japan[1]), projectors and other display devices. An input device that utilizes a light-sensitive detector to select objects on a display screen. A light pen is similar to a mouse, except that with a light pen you can move the pointer and select objects on the display screen by directly pointing to the objects with the pen.
The screen on a computer is part of a monitor. It is referred as the monitor "panel" or as the "display surface" The latter is the surface of the large end of a cathode ray tube, where images are created.
A traffic light is a light source as it emits light to signal drivers when to stop, slow down, or go.
a light source and a reflector
No, a bicycle reflector is not a source of light on its own. It works by reflecting light from other sources, such as car headlights, to make the bicycle more visible in low-light conditions.
The moon is both a partial reflector and a partial absorber of light. The only thing it's NOT is a source of light.

VDU (Visual Display Unit) is a device used to display visual information like a computer monitor or television screen. A light reflector, on the other hand, is a surface that reflects light. In the context of VDUs, light reflectors can be used to reduce glare and improve the visibility of the screen by reflecting ambient light away from the viewer, thereby enhancing the display quality.
Source light is light coming directly from a light source/emitter (i.e. a light bulb, the sun, stars, etc.). Reflected light is light coming indirectly from the light source/emitter. That could be reflected, refracted light, etc.
A light source generates and emits its own light. A reflector reflects light (i.e. light bounces off of it) from another source. Examples of light sources: The sun, the stars, a lightbulb, a flame, a red-hot piece of metal. Examples of reflectors: The moon, the planets, the ground lit by the sun.
This is a head lamp for a vehicle, comprising an illipsoidal reflector, a horizontally oriented light source, and a lens. The reflector has forward and rear focal points and extends forwardly of the latter. The light source is at the rear focal point. The focus of the lens is at the forward focal point of the reflector. The reflector and light source and lens are proportioned to project an elliptical beam pattern having a relatively great horizontal spread. This pattern is symbolically represented by a spoke-like multiplicity of groups of overlapping images of the source.
Sapphire doesn't create or produce light. If you can see it, then it must be reflecting light from something else.

i think it is a reflector of light as we are able to see a leaf in the presence of light, it means when light bounces back into our eye, we can see it otherwise we would not be able to see it. however it is not a good reflector of light, but a poor reflector of light.
